On Monday, February 13, 2017, select members of the Strategy Review and Inter Party Affairs Committee, led by the Chairman, Prof. Jerry Gana, met and presented the report earlier submitted to the National Caretaker Committee, to the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR.
The delegation also went to the house of the former National Chairman of the Party, Dr. Bamanga Tukur and the former Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees (BOT), Chief Tony Anenih, to present the same report to them.
You will recall that the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, CON, had constituted a special committee headed by Prof. Jerry Gana and has Hon. Austin Opara as secretary, to review the situation in the PDP with a view to make useful recommendations for the Party going forward.
The Committee sat for 3 months and came up fantastic recommendations to rebuild, revitalize and rebrand the PDP ahead of the General Elections in 2019.
These recommendations is now being presented by the Review Committee to major Party Organs and stakeholders nationwide for their inputs and contributions.
